Tilly, a 19 year old forward from Maine heads to the Thunder Hockey Club after registering zero points in 8 games with the ‘Totes. In return, the Green Machine will receive the, ever so popular, “future considerations.” According to ‘Totes General Manager, Michael Murphy, this was a trade that benefitted both teams. “Owen is a great kid. He just wasn’t getting a lot of ice time and we had a chance to send him to a team who needed him. In return, we will get a player from THC, should they finish below a certain mark at the trade deadline. Everybody wins.” Murphy added, “When I presented the deal to Buttsy (Totems Head Coach, Mike Butters) his only concern was that Tilley was going to play where he was headed. I wish every trade was like this."
