The Seattle Totems have signed forward, Trevor Loucks, to a Standard Player Agreement, announced General Manager, Michael Murphy.

The signing of Loucks was somewhat of a homecoming as he spent his childhood in Marysville and played his youth hockey at both SJHA and for the 16U AAA Seattle Thunderbirds joint team, which was coached by current Totems head coach, Mike Butters.

Loucks (20), comes to the Totems via the New York Aviators, where he put up 17 goals and 18 assists in 42 games. The 5'7" 155lb. forward is very excited about joining the Totems for the upcoming season. "I am super excited to be able to come back and play back in Seattle again. I’ve had some great memories with the people and the coaches in Seattle, especially Buttsy (Mike Butters), and I’m stoked to get back to work and help bring this team to a successful season."

Totems Head Coach, Mike Butters, had this to say about reuniting with his star winger. "Trevor is a highly-skilled, top 6 forward who gives us  another offensive weapon. His speed is next level and I expect nothing but a strong effort from him as he is in his last year of junior, vying for college recruitment. He is a well-liked, unselfish player and will fit in very well with the group we are assembling. I am excited to see in in a Totems uniform."

Coach Butters and his staff will have another task in front of them as the Totems Open Camp starts this Friday at Olympicview Ice Arena. The camp will feature many Totems hopefuls, along with some veterans. For a complete camp schedule, log on to www.seattlejuniortotems.com.
